St. Croix Valley Hobby Farm Visitor Policy
Welcome to our farm! We’re glad you’re here. To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone — animals and humans alike — please read and follow the rules below.
No Outside Food or Animal Feeding
For the safety and health of our animals, guests are not permitted to bring or offer food to any of the animals. We do not sell feed for the animals. All animals are on carefully managed diets, and outside treats even those with good intentions can cause harm. This experience is a therapeutic interaction having feed for sale not only isn’t good for their health but also distrupts the theraputic time you will have with the animals. Feel free to pet, or just watch any animal!
Farm Safety Rules
Enter at your own risk. This is a working farm with live animals. Animals can behave unpredictably, and by entering, you accept personal responsibility for your safety. No running or chasing animals. Sudden movements can startle animals and lead to injury. Children must be supervised at all times. Adults are responsible for ensuring children follow all safety rules. Keep fingers away from animal mouths. Pigs in particular can bite while expecting food.
Stay clear of the animals’ hind legs. Alpacas and ponies may kick if approached from behind. Always approach calmly from the side or front. Do not climb fences or enter animal pens without staff permission. Fencing is there to protect both you and the animals.
Respectful Behaviors, Please use quiet voices and gentle movements around all animals. Treat them with care and respect, just as we do.
Failure to follow these rules may result in being asked to leave the property. Thank you for helping us create a safe, respectful environment for all who visit.
St Croix Valley Hobby Farm LLC Travling Farm cannot gurantee all requested animals will be available due to illness or just well being of the animals. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule due to extreme conditions or emergencies.
Our traveling hobby farms footprint requires a 30×30 area for the animals, grassy and shaded area if possible. We will also need 70’ of parking space for our vehicle and trailer.
We are willing to mobilize our farm animals within 160 miles of ST Croix Valley Hobby Farm LLC.
ST Croix Valley Hobby Farm LLC requires a down payment of $100 at the time of booking and securing your events date. Accepted payment methods include Check, Cash, Paypal, Venmo. Cancel up to 7 days prior to the event and your deposit will be returned.
It is your responsibility to check with city/township ect and secure a special permit if required by your governing body.
Pricing for the traveling farm includes a milage charge of $1.50 per mile round trip from Osceola WI to your address of the event.
Traveling Farm Pricing (Availibilty of animals subject to change at anytime.) We will make decisions based off the betterment of our animals first but also will do our best to meet our customers needs.
